FILM COMPLICES OPENS IN LOCAL THEATERS

The new movie Complices (Wingmen) will start showing in Dominican movie theaters; this is the new Rom-Com production by filmmaker Luis Eduardo Reyes, and second production funded by Lantica Media, featuring international distribution.

The film premiered successfully last Tuesday during its Premiere, which featured an attendance of 300 people, among them: Actors, directors, producers, members of the press, renowned businessmen and public figures such as Eva Arias, and Ruth Ocumarez, whom are part of the cast.

María Valentina Avellaneda, Communication & Marketing Manager to Lantica Media, offered the welcome address, and extended her gratitude as well as her excitement to the attending public.

Complices opened in the Mexican movie theaters last February and was the second blockbuster hit in the Mexican box office on its opening week, surpassing one million viewers. In the D.R., the film will be distributed by Caribbean Film Distribution, and screened in the main theaters nationwide.

Plot:

Juan Campos has spent his whole life to seducing the most beautiful women, alongside with his friend and wingman, Luis Pani. When they set out to their adventure in the Dominican Repuiblic, Luis becomes ill and Juan finds himself compelled to taking in his nephew May, a 20year old young man, suffering depression from a broken heart due to losing his first love. While Juan trains Mau in the art of seduction, Teresa D’Ors comes into play, the only woman capable to setting Juan straight. Together they set out on an adventure where both will learn from each other, and discover that in love, nothing is set in stone.
